Nothing British About It
Goyal & Co launched a new apartment complex in Bangalore, which they officially registered as 'Orchid Piccadilly'. In a country scarred by the British rule, this was indeed an icky situation to be in, to add to our problems, there was nothing British about the architecture or any aspect of this project for that matter. What started as a conundrum was then flipped on its head and used to our advantage with the Tag line of the campaign stating "Orchid Piccadilly, Nothing British About it". We played on the innate, ancestral need of us Indians to take a dig at the British. And it worked. It struck a chord with our Indian audiences. They had a good laugh. No offence to the British :) Film advertisement created by Lazaro Advertising, India for Goyal & Co, within the category: Professional Services.
