Unreasonable Woman - Michele Aboro
Anomaly has marked International Women’s Day by celebrating unreasonable women from around the world. This year, building on the launch of its global gender equality offering, Unreasonable Equals, Anomaly partnered with Unreasonable Studios, a global creative production company, to create a short documentary. The story focuses on the incredible journey of former undefeated seven times world champion boxer, Michele Aboro, from her beginnings in London to her present in Shanghai, China. It is a journey of breaking down barriers, from first learning boxing when the sport was banned for women to becoming an undefeated world champion, from professional athlete to gym owner to philanthropist, and from breast cancer survivor to mother and mentor.
