The Mourning After
TM Advertising collaborated with acclaimed filmmaker Eli Roth to create a new commercial for Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights. Roth, known for such blockbuster films as Hostel and Cabin Fever, makes his commercial directorial debut with the spot. The Mourning After features a group of friends at a twisted Halloween party. Things quickly take a dark turn as the group encounters an array of characters that pay tribute to the horror films and television-themed mazes guests will experience at Halloween Horror Nights. These include FX’s critically-acclaimed, Emmy and Golden Globe Award-winning television series, “American Horror Story,” Stanley Kubrick’s psychological horror film, The Shining, and the upcoming movie SAW: The Games of Jigsaw. “Halloween Horror Nights” kicks off at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort on Friday, September 15, 2017.
